In a competition as quirky and outrageous as Red Bull Flugtag, yes, rules still apply.

A total of up to 5 people (4 pushers and 1 pilot) may be on each Red Bull Flugtag team. Only the pilot can be in the craft at the time of launch and must be 18 years of age or older. Have no fear though! Younger teammates may participate, but they just can't make the plunge into the drink below.

All crafts must be entirely human-powered - no jets, battery-powered fans, slingshots, catapults, pulleys, or stored energy of any kind. And in this case, size matters! All crafts must have a wingspan of less than 30 feet and weigh less than 450 pounds including the pilot.

Finally, all crafts will be judged on three criteria: distance, creativity and showmanship. So show your flair and take to the skies!
